This is the 48th Year of the Landa Park Dolphins!

LANDA PARK DOLPHINS is organized as a nonprofit tax-exempt corporation to develop amateur athletes for swimming competition. Under the banner of New Braunfels Aquatic Club (the corporation name) we participate in the national USA-S (USA-Swimming) Age Group Swimming Program. Under the flag of LPD (Landa Park Dolphins) we participate in the state TAAF (Texas Amateur Athletic Federation) Swimming Program.

April 24 & Returning swimmer registration – new swimmer tryout and registration a
May 1 Winning Spirit Clinics for all age groups - 9:00 – 11:30 AM
Mandatory parents meeting during clinic on May 1 at 9:00 AM
(Note: New Swimmers can register and tryout during Clinics)

April26 Workouts begin 5:30 - 7:30 Monday - Friday

May 15 Better Than #1 (please don’t miss this)

WU 7:30 – Meet 8:00 – 11:00 AM All LPD swimmers > no fees >
entries due May 11 Swim Shop with team suits & goggles
Note: Team suits are a nicety not a requirement .

May 29–31 Memorial Day Weekend – No workout May 31

June 1 Summer workout schedule starts Tuesday , June 1:
AM 7:00 – 9:00 Tuesday – Friday (No workout Monday AM – pool is closed).
PM 6:00 – 8:00 Monday – Friday (Monday PM all LPD ).

June 12 “CAN DO” Pentathlon all LPD swimmers

WU 7:30 AM– meet 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM >

July 17* TAAF Regional Championships > qualifying meet for State Home All LPD swimmers &parents > entries and fees due July 3.

Aug -5-7* The Games of Texas–TAAF State Championships Waco
For qualifiers from TAAF Regional Championships

Aug 2-4 LPD Mile Swim during workout >swimmers not going to state.

Aug 9-11 Mile Swim for swimmers going to state.

Aug 14 LPD 48th Annual Fun Meet & Battle of the Sexes all LPD & parents Home
WU – 7:30 – Meet 8:00 -11:00 AM > Awards Night >entries due Aug 2

Sept 22-26 Comal County Fair > every one needs to help in our food booth.

Note: “All LPD swimmers” applies to all age groups includes adult swimmers.
Workout times given are the total time we have the pool. The workout groups have their own times ranging from 1 hour to 2 hours.
