This is the 48th Year of the Landa Park Dolphins!

LANDA PARK DOLPHINS is organized as a nonprofit tax-exempt corporation to develop amateur athletes for swimming competition. Under the banner of New Braunfels Aquatic Club (the corporation name) we participate in the national USA-S (USA-Swimming) Age Group Swimming Program. Under the flag of LPD (Landa Park Dolphins) we participate in the state TAAF (Texas Amateur Athletic Federation) Swimming Program.

APRIL 20* LPD workouts begin 5:30 - 7:30 M - F

May 9 Better Than #1 – SC-Y (please don’t miss this) Home Landa Park – WU 7:30 – Meet 8:00 – 11:00 AM All LPD swimmers, parent events > no fees > entries due May 1 Swim Shop with team suits & goggles

May 23 AAAA “C” Meet USA-S (SC-M) @TMI entries & fees due May 2 San Antonio

May 22–25 Memorial Day Week End – No workouts >

June 1 Summer workout schedule starts > AM 7:00 – 9:00 & PM 6:00 – 8:00

June 6 City Championships & Better Than #2 (SC-Y) > All LPD swimmers > Home parent events > no fees > entries due June 1 > WU 7:30 - Meet 8:00 picnic lunch & awards presentation > last day to register for 08 team.

June 20-21 B-C Meet USA-S (LC) @ SA Natatorium > entries & fees due June 6 San Antonio

June 26-28* Schlitterbahn Open USA-S (LC) > Our important Long Course Meet Home entries and fees due June 6.

July 11* TAAF Regional Championships SC-Y > qualifying meet for State Home entries and fees due July 2.

July 18 “CAN DO” Pentathlon (SC-Y) all NBAC swimmers Home WU 7:30 AM– meet 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM > entries due July 12.

July 24 -26* The Games of Texas–TAAF State Championships @ Palo Alto College San Antonio For qualifiers from TAAF Regional Championships

July 25-26 South Texas Junior Olympics USA-S (LC) @ CCISD > qualifying times Corpus Christi entries and fees due July 14 (for swimmers not going to TAAF State)

Aug 3-7 LPD Mile Swim during workout > all LPD > parents do the timing

Aug 15 LPD 45th Annual Fun Meet & Battle of the Sexes (SC-Y) all LPD & parents Home WU – 7:30 – Meet 8:00 -11:00 AM > Awards Night >entries due Aug 5

Sept 24-27 Comal County Fair > every one needs to help in our food booth.
